Martin is effective as the mad doctor and Reb Brown as a pompous jock, yet Benedict and Menzies come off bland as the youthful lovers. Then again, they're playing intellectual college nerds so I'm sure that's how their characters were written. Needless to say, bad job on the female front. โ€ฆ

As far as horror goes, this is upper echelon. Not sure what the hype was about. Not the worst thing ever, but pretty close. โ€ฆ

One of the stronger entries from 1973. Starts strong but loses its way. That much is clear. โ€ฆ

And I stand by that. Decent performances, though nothing groundbreaking. you'll appreciate visually adequate that said rarely striking.
Anthony Bell
I struggled to finish this one. A generic soundtrack that doesn't leave much impression. Solid direction that occasionally loses focus.
