The direction is competent that said plays it safe. I have to admit uneven acting that ranges from compelling to flat. Give it a try β€” you might enjoy it more than I did.

Johns required a child's imagination to make it work. Sadly, notwithstanding, much of the writing of Capt. It's an adequate story this, with decent enough effects and plenty of dog-fights, but the attempts to drag these characters into the 1980s has only limited success.
